Coral Explosion

Thrifty Thursday

Hey, guys!  Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!
Welcome to Thrifty Thursday!  Thrifty Thursdays are days when we put the spotlight on pieces purchased from thrift stores.  This is going to be a fun series, so let’s get into it!  I love the simplicity and chicness of today’s inspiration photo.  The coral jacket with the animal print shoes gives the outfit just the right amount of pop without being over the top.  It’s just fabulous!  To recreate the look, I opted for a short-sleeved coral sweater, a coral and white striped tank, bootcut jeans, animal print flats, a few bracelets, and as many necklaces as I could layer around my neck.  On a side note, I’m really loving the layered necklace look lately.  Case in point, I found an outfit picture from last spring (see below).  Ironically, it’s almost the exact same outfit, which was not planned at all.  I didn’t find the picture from last year until after I took this year’s picture.  The major difference is the lack of necklaces in the rendition from last year.  I guess we all go through phases.  It’s just funny to see that front and center.  Anyway, back to the outfit.  The coral sweater and the tank are both thrift store finds.  I love that you can find nice pieces that will really enhance your wardrobe for cheap.  Plus, you’re giving those pieces a new life.  Otherwise, they would end up in a landfill somewhere and it’s much better that they land in my closet instead.  We all know I love the coral, and this is an outfit I’ve clearly had on repeat for awhile now.  Love it!
