Tis the season for parties! Party invitations are followed by one big question…what am I going to wear? Enter the inspiration photo. The moment I saw this picture I thought holiday party and fabulous. I immediately took to recreating the look. The outfit went through a few renditions during the recreation process. First, I tried a reverse combo of the inspiration photo and went for a black dress, a red leather jacket, and some black heeled boots. I wasn’t feeling it, though. Next, I replaced the jacket with a scarf and threw on a pair of black pumps. Closer, but no cigar. Finally, I picked a patterned red dress, a black sweater, and the black pumps. This look was the winner and got the seal of approval from the hubby!

So, don’t mind my hair, I’m testing out a new do. I use an app called YouCam Makeup. It’s great for trying new hair styles, hair colors, and makeup looks. It’s super easy to use and super fun too! Do you ever use makeup apps? Which ones would you recommend?
