Fabulous Finds Friday
For today’s installment of Fabulous Finds Friday, I’m sharing some of my favorite wedding ideas in honor of my sis-in-law’s wedding today! Grab some bubbly and enjoy!
My bestie and I made these invitations. It was so fun sharing that with her! Check out the original blog post for more details!
After scouring Pinterest and all the craft stores in the greater Des Moines area, I came up with these boutonnieres and corsages. I’m pretty happy with the way they turned out. My mom made my bouquets. I absolutely loved them! Aren’t they gorgeous?

Ah, the wedding dress. The most special dress you will ever purchase. See the whole story in the original blog post!
Wedding Centerpieces. These can be challenging, at least they were for me. I went around and around and around with different ideas. I finally landed on this design and loved the simplicity and elegance of them. Check out the original blog post for all the details!
The kiddos need to be entertained too! I found this great idea on Pinterest and made activity books. They were a big hit! The ring bearers also loved the Ring Security badges I made for them. Check out all the details in the original blog post!
DIY Wedding Unity Candle
Since I never wrote a blog post about this, I thought I’d give a quick description of how I made this candle. It was actually really simple! I looked on Pinterest for wedding poems and came across this one. I loved it! I made the design in MS PowerPoint and printed it out on normal computer paper. I cut the paper so it would fit all the way around the candle. I secured the paper to the candle with some double-sided tape. I finished off the look by adding some gold ribbon to the top and bottom. There you have it. A quick and easy DIY wedding unity candle!
Cupcake stands can be expensive! This is DIY version uses items from the dollar store making it a more affordable option. Check out the details in the original blog post!
So the wedding’s over, now what do you do with all the leftover decorations? You repurpose them of course! Check out the original blog post for ways to turn those wedding decorations into beautiful gifts!
Big congrats to my sis-in-law and her new hubby!
That’s all for today. See you guys in my next post!
Have a fabulous weekend, lovelies!
