Today, we’re talking style inspiration again. Remember last week when we were cleaning out our closets (see the post here)? There were a few pieces that I kept out as I wasn’t sure how to style them. What do you do when you don’t know how to style something? You turn to Pinterest of course!
I was at a loss at how to style this. Pinterest to the rescue!
I found a few ideas that caught my eye. I love the striped shirt with the black vest, but I don’t have a striped long-sleeved shirt. This is definitely an outfit I want to try when the weather gets warmer.
It’s hard to tell, but the inspiration pic is actually a blue sweater vest. Other than switching that out for the black sweater vest, I stuck pretty close to the inspo photo. I also added a scarf rather than the necklace for a greater impact. I’m loving this look and have gotten so many compliments on this outfit! The long black vest can stay in my closet for now!
This has been a really fun experiment! We’ve learned that sometimes all we need is a little inspiration. The pieces in our closets can easily be refreshed by scrolling through Pinterest. That’s awesome!
