How to Easily Add Interest to an Outfit

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!

It seems like our lives are busier than ever these days. We’re running from here to there and everywhere in between. Whew! Any simplicity we can add to our hectic days is a huge plus. For many of us (myself included), we throw on some clothes and run out the door. Sometimes we don’t have the time or the energy to put much thought into our looks. We don’t want our outfits to be boring, though. How do we easily add interest to our outfits?

No worries! There are three easy ways we can quickly add interest to our looks. Let’s check it out!

#1: Add Prints

Adding any type of print will instantly make an outfit look more intriguing. Whether it be in a shirt, a scarf, a tank, a jacket, or the like, a print will elevate your look. Mixing prints will have an even bigger impact. Not sure how to mix prints? That’s okay, I wasn’t sure either. Check out my blog here about how I learned to mix it up.

#2: Add Jewelry

This is my favorite tip for adding appeal to a look. I love me some jewelry! Plus, it’s so easy to toss on some earrings, a necklace, and/or a bracelet when we’re running out the door. Taking the extra seconds to add jewelry, will be well worth the effort. You’ll look and feel more put-together. That can only help our confidence throughout our day!

#3: Add a Scarf

Adding a scarf can add interest to a look and FAST! I know, I know, it’s summer and all, so we may not be thinking scarves. There are plenty of great light-weight scarves out there that can easily be worn in the warmer months. Kimonos are also a great alternative to wearing a scarf in the summer. Check out my kimono posts here, here, and here.

How do you add interest to your outfits?

That’s all for today. Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous day, lovelies!
