Hey, lovelies! Welcome back to Talk Fabulous! I’m so happy you’re here!

Today, let’s talk make-up tips with glasses. Recently, I switched back to wearing glasses full-time. My contacts were getting annoying and they were drying out my eyes. Plus, putting them in and taking them out was getting old. It’s just so much easier to throw on my glasses and continue with my day.
The thing is, though, putting on make-up with glasses can be challenging. Have no fear! I’ve put together 7 tips to take all the guesswork out of wearing make-up with glasses. Let’s get into it!
Tip 1: Use a color corrector

Glasses magnify your eye area. Piling on the concealer can make your under eyes look extra cakey. That’s not a look we’re going for. Instead, use a color corrector to neutralize the color under your eyes. Peach is a great choice for masking those pesky dark circles. Some color corrector followed by a small amount of concealer will have your under eyes looking bright and beautiful in no time! Check out my color corrector review here.
Tip 2: Minimal eye-shadow

Again, remember the glasses magnify the eye area. So, eye-shadow that is not blended just perfectly will stand out like a sore thumb. I’m blind as a bat without my glasses. Putting on eye-shadow and flawlessly blending it out is nearly impossible. No worries, though, there’s an easy solution. Either use a base colored eye-shadow or none at all. How easy is that?!? Plus, the make-up trend this year is light eye-shadow and bright lips. Win, win!
Tip 3: Match eyeliner thickness to frame thickness

Eyeliner is a must do step when wearing glasses. As always, eyeliner makes your eyes pop and become the focal point of your face. We all want that, right? The key when wearing eyeliner with glasses is easy. Simply mach the eyeliner thickness to the thickness of the frame. This will balance the eye-wear and your eyes and create a fabulously perfect look.
Tip 4: Use volumizing mascara

Mascara can be tricky when wearing glasses. Lengthening mascaras can create too much length and brush against the lenses. That gets annoying as it becomes constantly necessary to clean the lenses. Use a volumizing formula for best results. The magnification from the glasses coupled with the volumizing effect on your lashes will make them look fierce! Additionally, no need for bottom lash mascara when wearing glasses. That’s great news as far as I’m concerned! Check out my favorite volumizing mascara here.
Tip 5: Do your brows

Brows are often overlooked. The impact they have when done, though, is undeniable. This is even truer when wearing glasses. Make sure you do your brows! Check out my favorite brow product and the full scoop on the importance of doing your brows here.
Tip 6: Don’t forget your skin

So far, we’ve been talking about make-up around our eyes. We don’t want to forget the rest of our face, though. When wearing glasses, don’t skip the foundation. Again, I’m mega blind without my glasses. I’ve found using powder foundation is the easiest to apply and blend without being able to see much. Check out my favorite powder foundation here.
Tip 7: Layer on the lipstick

Last, but not least, layer on the lipstick. The eye-shadow is kept minimal, so to balance out the look add a bold lip color. The minimal eye look coupled with a bold lip is so on-trend this year. It’s the perfect time to rock out this look! I’m still loving the MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Lipstick from Wet n Wild. Find it here.
That’s it! 7 easy tips to look great in glasses. I’d love to hear which eye-wear you prefer? Glasses, contacts, or none of the above (lucky!)?
Thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous day, lovelies!
