Color Mixup

Hey, guys!  Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!

There are many times we’ll see an inspiration picture somewhere and it’s not quite right.  In the case of today’s inspiration pic, I didn’t have the exact pieces to pull off that exact look.  As we know, I’m not a big fan of colored jeans nor do I have a jean jacket.  That’s no reason to dismiss the inspiration, though.  We just need to tweak it a little.  That’s where the color mixup comes in!

Instead of the red jeans, I picked out a red tank.  I switched the jean jacket to denim Capris and the white shirt became a white cardigan.  The basic vibe of the inspiration photo remains, but in a way that expresses my unique style.  I topped off the look with some red and gold accessories.  This is a great look for summer and I’m so glad I didn’t dismiss the inspiration pic!
