The Calling Kimono

Hey, guys!  Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!

Have you ever been getting ready and had the feeling that you must wear a certain item that day?  This phenomenon occasionally happens to me, but it was strong this morning.  The kimono was calling my name, saying “wear me!  wear me right now!”

I got so many compliments on this outfit today and I felt fabulous in it!  I wonder if I got more compliments because of the outfit or because I was feeling confident about it?   Something to ponder…

Usually, my favorite pieces in my closet or in my jewelry box are the ones that have a story behind them.  This kimono was made by my very talented bestie, Becca.  People are amazed when I tell them she made this because it looks so professionally done!  I’ve also worn it in cold weather look here.  Kimonos are a versatile clothing option.  They can be worn any time of year as they provide warmth in the winter yet are light and breezy enough to be cool in the summer.  That’s a win-win in my book!
