Things I’ve been loving this month!

Hey, guys!  Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!

Once again, there’s no crafting segment today.  I know, I know, on Wednesdays we craft.  Don’t worry!  I have plenty of fabulous crafting projects lined up for the holiday season, but today let’s take a moment to reflect on October.  First of all, where did October go?  Seriously, it’s flown by!  I feel like I blinked and the whole month disappeared.  Despite the light speed of time, I did manage to wrangle up some of my favorite things to share with you from the month of October!  Let’s get into it!

Online Shopping

This probably doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone.  Last week’s Fabulous Finds Friday was all about online grocery shopping (see the post here).  It’s so good, though, it’s worth mentioning again.  Since last week’s post, I’ve ordered from the HyVee Aisles Online service and Target delivery once more.  I was still impressed.  These will be services I will continue to utilize in the future!

Wet n Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick in Rebel Rose: $5

This is the quintessential fall lip color (find it here)!  It’s the perfect neutral shade that would work for just about anyone.  These lipsticks have also been featured in a Fabulous Finds Friday (see the post here).  The is the most comfortable matte lipstick ever!  It drys down without stripping your lips of all the moisture and the staying power is truly amazing.  Love it!

What Nicole Wore

I’ve been loving this blog (check it out here)!  Not only does she discuss fashion and lifestyle, she also explores everyday issues.  She touches on things that most of us can relate to in a way that makes us feel like we’re not alone.  There’s a sense of community and comradery surrounding her blog.  I would highly recommend checking it out!

Scarves

Yeah, it’s that time of year.  As much as we might hate to see the warm summer sun melt away, let’s not pretend like we’re not a little bit happy to pull out our scarves, sweaters, and boots.  If it’s going to be cold, we might-as-well-be cute!  Fall fashion certainly offers the opportunity to get creative with our style.  Fall is my favorite, both for the show Mother Nature puts on for us and for the fashion.  So, go ahead, rock those scarves and show that cold weather who’s boss!

Apples

Ah, yes, fall and apples.  I’m not a big on pumpkin spice flavored things, but sign me up for some apples!  Apple cider, apple crisp, apples, apples, apples!  In case you’re in the market for a new apple recipe, check out this apple dip.  It’s delicious!  For a simpler version, layer Greek yogurt, caramel sauce, mini chocolate chips, and dip away. Yum!
