Fabulous Finds Friday: FabFitFun

The Fall Box

Hey, guys!  Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!
Today, we’re talking Fab Fit Fun for fall!  How’s that for some mega alliteration!?!  Let’s check out what was in the fall box, shall we?  If you subscribe to FabFitFun, let me know what was in your box.  Enough chatting, let’s get into it!
Mer-Sea & Co. Scarf: $98
Oh my goodness, I wish you guys could feel how soft and light this scarf is.  It’s truly heavenly!  Whether you’re traveling to far off lands or just hanging out at home, this scarf is a must-have for fall.  When the weather cools down, you better believe this scarf will have a permanent home around my neck!  As nice as this scarf is though, there’s no way I would pay upwards of $100 for it.  That’s the beauty of these subscription boxes, though.  You get to treat yourself to something nice that you wouldn’t normally buy for yourself.  That’s awesome in my book!
Private Party Gym Bag: $59
How cute is this bag?!?! Mine says “Meet Me at the Barre” in honor of my childhood ballet days.  Even though I’m more of a workout-at-home kinda girl, this bag will still come in handy.  Who doesn’t need an extra bag (or two or three or four) laying around, right?  I can’t wait to use it!
Imm Living Coxet Wire Heart Ceramic Jewelry Holder: $33
I don’t know about you, but I’m always leaving my everyday jewelry on top of my jewelry armoire.  It takes so much extra effort to put it away into the armoire when I’m just going to get it out the next day, amiright?  😉  This was the item I didn’t know I needed.  It’s perfect to sit on top of my armoire to hold all those items I don’t want to put away.  Now, there’s no fear of them falling down and getting lost on the floor.  Genius!
Deco Miami Lavender Cuticle Oil: $12.50
This stuff is awesome.  I suffer from mega dry cuticles and this oil helps bring them back to life.  Plus, it smells great and the lavender is oh so soothing.  Apparently, even my puppy liked it as she chewed the cute gold lid completely off.  Luckily, she didn’t get into the product itself.  I should’ve known she was up to something when it was way too quiet in the living room.  Silly girl!

Whish Beauty Renewing Mud Mask: $48
I haven’t had a chance to try this, but I’m so excited to test it out.  The description says it “features natural ingredients like bentonite clay, aloe, and rosehip oil to reveal smoother, softer skin while slowing down the aging process.”  Sounds good to me!
Mytagalongs Hot & Cold Gel Pack: $15
If you’re like me, you never have a cold pack when you need one.  Also, if you’re like me, you never think to buy one at the store.  Very rarely do I think about first aid items when I’m perusing down the aisles of my favorite drugstore.  Luckily, now I don’t have to.  Thanks, FabFitFun, for including another item I didn’t know I needed!
Trestique Matte Color & Shiny Balm Lip Crayon: $28
The color I received was Florence Fig & Rose Balm, which is a really lovely pinky/peach nude shade.  We all know I love my drugstore makeup.  There’s so much great quality makeup there for an affordable price.  Well, friends, this product is an exception.  The description indicates that this is a “handy 2-in-1 product that features a creamy, lightweight lip color crayon with a natural matte finish, and a BB lip balm for added shine and moisture.”  This is the most comfortable lip product I’ve ever used and is living full time in my purse.  I would totally pay $28 for this lip stuff.    Now, not only do I want one in every color, but I also want all my friends and family to feel the fabulousness of this product, too!
Cottonelle FreshCare Flushable Cleansing Cloths
What a cute addition to this box!  While I don’t think it’s a good idea to flush these (even though they say you can) it is nice to have some wet wipes around.  You never know when you might need them!
Dphue Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse: $35

I was so excited to receive this product in my box!  I’ve been intrigued by apple cider vinegar use on the hair so I couldn’t wait to try this out.  It claims to be a “shampoo and conditioner substitute [that] uses the power of apple cider vinegar and other ingredients like lavender extract and argan oil to gently remove impurities from your hair without stripping it of its natural oils.”  Sounds good.  I used this when I got back from the beach as it seemed like a good choice to get rid of the excess salt water and such left in my hair from beach time.  I washed my hair with this, threw it up in a ponytail, sprayed a little hairspray and went about my day.  I was impressed with how soft and clean my hair felt.  The second time I used it, though, the story had a different ending.  I washed my hair with this and then put several styling products in my hair including a gel, root booster, and some hairspray.  Those products did NOT play nice with the vinegar hair rinse.  My hair was so sticky, weighed down, and just generally gross.  I would use this again, but not before styling.
The Jetset Diaries Cable Knit Beanie: $49
Again, I wish you guys could feel how soft and light this hat is!  For all of you that live in the north, you understand the need for a cute and functional hat.  This beanie fits the bill nicely.  I’m so excited to style it different ways this winter.  Afterall, I might-as-well have some fun when there’s 3 feet of snow on the ground, right?
Total Value of Box: $377.50!!!
What a great box and what a great value!  Getting almost $400 worth of products for $50 is awesome!  I will at least try out all these products and probably use most of them on a regular basis.
This was my last box in my year-long subscription.  In January, I took my Christmas money and paid $175 for an annual subscription.  That makes each box ring in at about $44.  If you’re interested in seeing what I got in my previous boxes, check them out here: Editor’s Box/Spring Box/Summer Box. Maybe it’s silly, but this just brought me joy every time I saw that box sitting on my front porch.  I couldn’t wait to open it and see what was inside!   In our ever-stressful world, doing something that will bring a little joy to your heart is not a bad idea.  Something as little as this can put a bright spot in any bad day.  I would highly recommend subscribing to FabFitFun.  If you’re not sure, just get one box to try it out.  There’s certainly no harm in that.   I will definitely be renewing my subscription for next year!  If you’re interested in subscribing, use my link to get $10 off your first box.  Enjoy!
That’s all for today.  See you guys in my next post!
Have a fabulous weekend, lovelies!
lylas,
MissyAnn
