Fabulous Finds Friday: Bug Soother

The Best Bug Repellent Ever

Hey, guys!  Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!

Today, let’s go outside!  But first, don’t forget the sunscreen and bug spray. No one likes the idea of dousing themselves in who knows what to protect themselves from the creepy crawlers outside.  Plus, most of that stuff smells terrible.  A few years ago, my husband’s family were all back home for a long weekend.  The gnats were awful that year and we couldn’t even go outside for a minute without being attack by hundreds of them.  Then, one of my sis-in-laws changed our lives forever.  She brought home Bug Soother (find it on Amazon here).  This stuff is amazing!  We could finally go outside without being bothered by all the bugs.  Even better, this stuff is all-natural, DEET-free, and smells great!  Plus, not only does this repel gnats, but also mosquitoes.  That’s all a big win in my book!  You can find it pretty much anywhere and I would definitely recommend picking up a few today!

The only downfall to Bug Soother is that it doesn’t protect against ticks and chiggers.  This would not be something you would want to wear hiking or in situations where you would be exposed to ticks or chiggers. For those instances, I like Repel Insect Repellent Family (find it here).  This stuff is 23% DEET and repels mosquitoes, ticks, chiggers, etc.  I can say from personal experience that it works great.  The smell is actually quite pleasant as far as bug sprays go, too.  The one I have is a spray bottle as opposed to an aerosol bottle shown in the link.  I prefer the spray bottle, but that’s just me.  I would highly recommend this for hiking and other situations where ticks and chiggers are prevalent.
Do you use bug spray?  Which products would you recommend?
That’s all for today.  See you guys in my next post!
Have a fabulous weekend, lovelies!

MissyAnn
