The Return of the Boots
Hey, guys! Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!
Well, I think I spoke too soon about bidding farewell to winter clothes (see the post here). Luckily, I hadn’t packed my boots away yet, because I’ve been wearing them non-stop the past few days. I figured, why not feature them in my inaugural Tuesday Shoes Day post. Wait, what?! Tuesday Shoes Day? What’s that? As you can probably guess from the title, every Tuesday my posts will put the spotlight on shoes. After all, shoes are so fun they deserve their own day! Now, onto the outfit! With the chilly weather, I wanted to wear my cognac boots. Naturally, I took to Pinterest to find inspiration and there it was; today’s inspiration photo. It perfectly matched my current vibe, a little blue because it just keeps raining (although I think I see the sun! *gasp) and a little color for the hope that it is indeed May and we will see the sun again and feel the warm spring breeze on our cheeks with the scent of lilacs in the air. Ah, now that’s more like it! For my version, I opted for a blue blouse, a coral tank with a matching coral scarf, and a cream cardigan sweater. Oh, and, of course, the fabulous cognac boots!
