A Chic Outfit for Chilly Spring Days

It’s been a little chilly here the past few days. What’s a girl to do when the weather is cold but her heart screams spring? A good option is to wear bright colors. I took to Pinterest to find a cute outfit to beat the chilly spring blues and came across the inspiration photo. The light pink is so on point with spring, right? Sadly, my pink sweater and my pink scarf are not the same hues, so pink was off the table. However, what about another color? Using the same concept of matching the sweater to the scarf, I began looking at my options. Luckily, my purple sweater matched one of my purple scarves. Bonus points that the scarf it matched was sparkly! Once I picked out the sweater and scarf, the rest of the outfit was easy. I simply paired those items with a white shirt, bootcut jeans, and cute pink flats. My feet were so cold, but they looked cute! This would be a great formula if you were in a hurry and needed a quick and easy outfit. Try it out and let me know how it goes!

Happy May Day! Have you ever celebrated May day? When I was in early elementary school, I remember helping my mom make a May basket for a neighbor who had just had a baby. I thought that was the coolest thing. Just wondered if anyone else has May day memories.
