The Spring Box
I love that these boxes include jewelry. This bracelet is stunning! It’s simple yet oh so chic. It doesn’t look like much in the box, but that all changes when you put it on. I’ve already worn it several times and just love it. Again, I’m not sure I would pay $80 for it; there’s probably cheaper options out there. But since I got it, I’ll wear it!
Dr. Brandt® Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator: $79
This fancy exfoliator has aluminum oxide crystals, lactic acid, and smoothing botanicals to get rid of dead skin and leave you with “bright, smooth, healthy-looking skin.” For $79 it better do at least that, right? I’ve used this one time so far. The product burned a little while I had it on my face. It wasn’t super painful by any means, but it wasn’t pleasant. My skin felt really nice once I washed it off. I’ve had more breakouts than normal since using it, though. I’m not sure if it’s due to that or something else. I’ll try it a few more times and keep you posted!
Karuna Hydrating + Face Mask: $28
There are 4 single-use sheet masks in this box making each mask about $7. That’s steep, but these are amazing! The mask is supposed to allow “pores to fully absorb essential nutrients and nourishing ingredients for ultimate hydration.” With my oily skin, I wouldn’t use these in the summer. However, in the winter and spring, it’s perfect. I’ve only used one so far, and my skin felt and looked so healthy afterward. Plus, pampering yourself with a sheet mask is a great way to relax and unwind after a hard day. It’s quite a treat!
Realher Lip Kit: $48
The lip kit includes a lip liner, liquid lipstick, and a plumping lip gloss. There was a possibility of getting one of three shades, deep red, deep nude, or neutral pink. I got the neutral pink, which is a great everyday lip color choice. How cute is the packaging on this product? I know it’s hard to see, but each product has a motivation saying on it. Such as “I am perfect”, “I am awesome”, etc. So fun! Sadly, though, that’s where my love affair with this product ends. The lip liner is okay. I threw it into my collection but I don’t reach for it very often. The lipstick is the most drying lip product I’ve ever used. It’s terrible, but not as terrible as the lip gloss. The lip gloss is a sticky, sticky mess. It’s as if you’ve put glue on your lips. Awful! There’s no way I would purchase from this brand or recommend it to anyone else.
Deborah Lippman Nail Polish Set: $19
Aren’t these the perfect color for spring? There was a possibility of getting either this blue or a pastel pink. I’m glad I got the blue as I don’t have a nail color like this in my collection. I was so excited to try these out because the nail polish in the last box was amazing! It’s from zoya.com and it has some major staying power. I have it on my nails for nearly 2 weeks before it starts to chip! It’s awesome. I was hoping this would be similar, but that was not the case. This stuff only lasts a day before it starts chipping. Even adding a top coat didn’t help. The colors are gorgeous, but don’t expect it to last long.
Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin, & Nails Gummies: $5-10
Confession time, I’ve never been much for vitamins. I found out there’s an exception to that, though. Vitamins in a gummy form are apparently acceptable and also delicious! I have already finished this bottle. I’m not sure they made any difference, but I did enjoy taking them every day. It was kinda like having a “healthy” candy treat! I wonder if they make calcium in gummy form? That’s worth investigating. I’ll keep you posted!
Overall, I’m really happy with the FabFitFun Spring box! I enjoyed experimenting with all the different products and found some things I really love that I would’ve never gone out and purchased myself. If you’re thinking about getting a subscription box, I would highly recommend going with FabFitFun. In fact, use this code for $10 off your first box! You won’t be disappointed!
