Why I Don’t Buy Colored Jeans and Why That’s Okay

Hey, guys! Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!
Today, let’s talk being fashionable. What does it mean to be fashionable? Unfortunately, it seems we have an idea that being fashionable means being trendy. I’m going to try to break that perception today. We don’t need to own all the latest trendy pieces or jump on every trend train to be fashionable. Being fashionable means being confident in your style and owning that style.
Let’s take colored jeans as an example. First off, if you like colored jeans, you get it, girl!  You do you, it’s all good.  Colored jeans are just my example, but this concept can be applied to anything. With that said, let’s get into it.  Colored jeans seem to be making a comeback as of late. As cute as those jeans may be, I’m not going to do this trend for a couple reasons. One, this takes me back to the early 90’s when I did have colored jeans but no fashion sense. I shutter at some of the outfits I put together. Two, I’m way too practical for my own good sometimes. In this case, though, I think it’s okay. I like to be able to pull out some jeans and be able to pair them with just about everything in my closet. That would not be the case with the colored jeans. Just because I’m not going to buy any colored jeans doesn’t mean I can’t make a cute outfit. Take the inspiration photos below. With a few switches, I have some fabulous outfits that work well with my style.
