Oh, L’Oreal, you’ve really done it this time. Not only do I absolutely adore their Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation (find it here), it’s ruined all other foundations for me. Maybelline’s Fit Me used to be in the foundation rotation. Revlon Color Stay, don’t mind if I do. CoverGirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous, yes, please! But now, none of them hold a candle to the Infallible Pro-Matte foundation. My skin looks flawless, it stays in place, and does indeed last a full day. The price for this fabulous foundation will run you about $10, so not terrible for the drugstore. Do be careful of the shade, though. Quick story…I first bought this in shade 102 Shell Beige. After waiting months to pull the trigger and try it out, I was so excited to get home and experiment. Much to my dismay, I didn’t like it at all. Disappointed, I stashed it away in my makeup drawer. A couple weeks later I stumbled upon the girls over at Eleventh Gorgeous (find their YouTube channel here) talking about this very product. They had a similar experience, so I was glad I wasn’t alone. Many people had suggested to them that they buy a different shade and try again. Taking that advice, I bought the shade 103 Natural Buff. That’s way too dark, at least for the dead of winter. However, mixing the two is a win and I’ve never looked back!
