Hey, guys! Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!
You may remember today’s inspiration photo from this summer (see the post here). I mentioned that come fall I would try to recreate the outfit with the boots and jacket. Well, the time has come to try it out. Honestly, I’m not loving this look. I do like the country vibe. The song Gone Country by Alan Jackson immediately found its way into my head when I put on the outfit. The jacket is not doing the outfit any favors here. For some reason, structured jackets don’t look good on me. Maybe I just haven’t found one that fits well or the material is too rigid? In an effort to try to steer away from the jean jacket, I tried pairing the dress with other sweaters too. None of them looked right, though. Looks like this dress is just for summer!
