Hey, guys! Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!
We’re switching things up again this week for Fabulous Finds Friday and, keeping in theme with Holiday Week, we’re talking holiday decorating. When I saw this inspiration photo on Pinterest, I couldn’t wait to recreate it. Honestly, I think I lasted about an hour until I couldn’t stand it anymore and started this project. All you need is some ornaments, fishing line (or ribbon or something to tie the ornaments on), a stapler, some small lights, and packing tape. First, I tied varying lengths of fishing line to each of my ornaments. Next, I took the stapler and carefully stapled the fishing line and ornament combo to the top of my window sill. This worked for me as my blinds are not flush up against the window. As you can see from the inspiration photo, they attached the ornaments to a strand of garland and then hung them on the window. This would work as well. I finished off my window by taping some lights around the perimeter. In hindsight, it would have been easier had I hung the lights first, but some lessons you just have to learn the hard way. At any rate, I LOVE how this turned out and can’t wait to do this every year!
