This inspiration photo might be my favorite of all. I LOVE it! Not sure why exactly, but I do. I’m not much for structured jackets as I find them to be uncomfortable. My style is all around comfort, so I much prefer to throw on a cardigan. However, there are times when a situation calls for a jacket. There are 2 jackets in my closet neither of which are blue. I opted for this pink plaid one, which isn’t terrible, but it’s nothing like the look in the inspiration photo. She’s basically wearing 3 colors. The column of navy with the pops of white and brown is probably what makes this outfit work so well. It’s back to the drawing board for me.

This inspiration photo may have been one of my first pins on Pinterest. The simplicity and sophistication of this outfit is just fabulous. And that necklace! Love that necklace! To recreate the outfit I took the same style top, kept the flared jeans and similar shoes. What really sets off the inspiration photo is the necklace. Although, my necklace works well, I think the boldness of a statement necklace would really boost the appeal of this outfit.

If you can believe it I don’t own a chambray shirt. I know, I know, they’re all the rage. I’ve never found one that looked flattering on me, though. Instead, I opted for a coral shirt (it looks pink but I promise it’s coral). The other pieces are very similar. Of the three, this recreation is my favorite.
