Scarf Organization

Hey, guys! Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!
This week we’ve been talking all about scarves. Now we just need a place to store them all! There’s tons of fancy hangers and such for scarves out there,  just check out Bed, Bath, and Beyond. There’s also lots of DIY ideas on Pinterest for cheap. I’ve tried my fair share of these DIY scarf storage solutions. Some worked okay, some didn’t work at all. I’ll share my favorite and current scarf storing system with you today.
The inspiration photo suggests using command hooks.  This is NOT a good idea.  Your scarves are heavy and those hooks cannot hold that weight.  Trust me on this one, I learned the hard way.  It’s not cool coming home to see all your scarves on the floor along with a huge chunk of drywall! Instead, use hooks (here) that can be screwed into the wall to give some much needed extra support.  Next, get some clear shower curtain rings (here) and chain them together.  Simply, slip the first ring over the hook and start hanging those scarves!  I have two hooks to take care of the overly organizing side of myself-one side is for my plain scarves arranged in rainbow order and the other side is for my patterned scarves.  As you can see, I also have a hanger on each hook.  These are to hold my pashminas, which do not handle being cramped in the shower curtain ring well.  This has been my favorite scarf organization system because I like how you can see all the scarves, you can take them on and off easily, and it’s sturdy.  If you’re looking for a way to store your scarves, I highly recommend this method!
