Today, let’s talk trends. We all want to be trendy, but sometimes going all in on a trend is scary. Purchasing trendy items can be pricey too, especially if they don’t stick around long. Enter Target run inspiration! On a trip to Target the other day I came up with the perfect solution for this dilemma…micro-trend pieces. (I totally just came up with that term. Feel free to use it in a sentence today). That’s right, pieces that have a small element of the current trend. Below are the items which inspired this break-through.
Tassel Trend
Tassels are big right now, but I have my doubts about their staying power. This necklace has just the right amount of trendiness. It has the tassel element, but is classic enough to be worn long after tassels aren’t cool anymore. It’s the perfect micro-trend piece!
Animal Prints
This “trend” has been around for awhile. I always find animal prints look good on other people, but I’ve never been bold enough to fully embrace them myself. Look at these shoes, though! They are subtle, yet have that boldness of the animal print. Seems like the perfect way to dip my toe into the water when it comes to this trend!
