Beach Votives

Hey, guys!  Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!

Today, let’s get crafty!  These beach votives popped up on my Pinterest feed one day and it was love at first sight.  I was slightly intimidated by this project as I wasn’t sure if I could match that level of awesome in the inspiration picture.  You never know until you try, so I set out to get the supplies.  You’ll need 3 glass votives (I got mine at Goodwill.  Yes, Goodwill has ALL the glassware!), 3 votive candles (mine are from the dollar store), some sand, and shells.  My sand and shells came from our recent trip to Orange Beach, AL (yes, Alabama has fabulous beaches!!!).  Start by placing a candle in the glass jar.  Pour on some sand and top with shells.  Seems easy, right?  Well, I’m not loving my finished product.  It’s okay, but not like what I envisioned.  Do you have any tips on how this can be improved???
