4th of July Week: Centerpieces

Hey, guys! Welcome back to Talk Fabulous!
It’s 4th of July week here on the blog. We’ll be talking about everything you need to have a great holiday weekend!
Up first, let’s talk decor. Every table needs a great centerpiece. I was immediately drawn to these cute flower vases I found on Pinterest. Turns out, the vases did not love me when I went to recreate them. Don’t worry though, I have all the tips to help yours turn out flawless! You’ll need: 3 glass containers (I got mine at the dollar store), star stickers (also from the dollar store), paint, floral foam (found here), and flowers. First, arrange the stickers on the inside of the glass jars. Press firmly, otherwise the paint will seep under the sticker. Also, maybe don’t use dollar store stickers. Next, paint the inside of the containers. You’ll probably need a couple coats. After the paint dries completely (overnight is best), cut the floral foam to fit snug into the bottom of the container. Arrange flowers to your liking and you’re done! Confession time…my red jar was a disaster. I had to completely wash it out and start over. There are no mistakes, though, only creative opportunities! I decided to glitter it up, so I Mod Podged the inside and covered that with red glitter. Now, the red one just might be my favorite!
