So what’s this blog all about anyway? Well, the inspiration for this blog came from a post by J’s Everyday Fashion entitled 10 Style Lessons Learned. (Do yourself a HUGE favor and immediately go follow her here.) Lesson #5 really hit home…”There’s no shame in using a recipe to cook, and I think style is the same.” Sound the trumpets, bang the gongs, this was an epiphany moment for me. Of course! I would never dream of cooking without a recipe-I can barely make mac & cheese from a box-why on earth did I think I had to invent every outfit I put on??? This new found freedom soon carried over into other aspects of my life-home decor, crafting, makeup, hairstyles-you name it. Freedom was found and this blog was born. Focusing on Fashion, Beauty, Home Decor, and Crafting, I want to share you with you my journey of taking inspiration from a variety of places and making it your own. Won’t you join me? I think decorating with cedar is always a good option. Plus, the smell is delightful and can freshen any area of the home. Thanks for your question!
